What went wrong with Tanishq jewellery advertisement, and how the people should respond to it?

Well, being a citizen of this country, I would like to share my neutral opinion over the controversy related to Tanishq jewellers advertisement. Prior to this, lemme describe you the whole case, so basically it’s a jewellery advertisement where a Hindu girl is being married to a Muslim family, and there is some sort of “Hindu’s” occasion of baby shower or ekatvam going on where they are performing that in a “Hindu ritual” style just for the sake of the girl, so that wouldn’t make her feel different in a family of different culture.

This adv. triggered the sentiments of a particular community(Hindus), where they were not fitting with it’s concept and accusing it with the terms like “promoting love-zihad” and more. Well, in my opinion this kind of expostulation is very obvious and known, b’coz in daily life we come across a lot of news related to “love-zihad”(sorry, I don’t wanna go deeper to that), and another possible reason of this anger is like, it has been observed from the very past, advertisements follow the same pattern of getting biased on a particular side, so they(Hindus) are hurt with this kind of biasness, and ask why don’t these adv. do the vice versa scenario . But, as I always prefer to go with a neutral opinion , so I saw the adv. with an eye on neutrality, and I felt nothing wrong with it, in fact it doesn’t affected me in anyway. The only thing I would suggest is to watch the things with their own intensions of been done, like if you are watching this adv. you should always watch it with it’s own motto and nothing more.

Now coming to the real -Life incidences, it’s not like what we hear from our media-houses, politicians, and what we get to see in a comment box of any social media post, it’s completely different outside. Everyone helps each others, I have seen many inter-caste couples who are leading there life very peacefully, in fact our constitution also praises this act, and in UP state the Government offers a cash award for inter-caste couples. For sure, I won’t deny the fact that there are news like “murdering” for not accepting the religion and that’s why they are covered in news due to being controversial…but it’s not same every time, there are positive sides too as I mentioned above, and about toxicity we can’t help with that, it’s everywhere. The only thing we can do is to stop this toxicity from spreading, by busting the fake news, propagandas, and most importantly stop having one-sided opinion all the time, judging things with facts. Regarding this adv. no doubt it’s a propaganda, it wouldn’t be if no one would bother creating this much hype. But ultimately they succeeded with there motto or propaganda whatever you say(How? I’ll explain it soon).

Regarding the Left-Wing and Right-Wing of our country, in my opinion both are useless😝, and you guys should never follow them, since they keep one-sided opinion always.

Now, let me explain how these adv. makers gain profit.

Let’s assume in a country out of 100% there are 70% Hindus and 30% Muslims (I’m not mentioning other religions(like Sikh, etc.) coz they don’t involve in all these shitty topics). If they will produce adv. which is against Hindus then out of 70%, 20% of the Hindus will not care about these things, 25% will be liberals who will blindly support this act and will act as a catalyst to boost up this issue, and the rest of the 25% are the extremists they will create the hype, and will get involved in a dirty fight of social media with liberals, so ultimately this trend will go old after a couple of days with free publicities all around, it will end up by politicians gaining there votes, news channels gaining publicity and the net boycott of 25%, which is worthless. But if we don’t create hype and just take it positively and only as an adv. they won’t be able to gain much profit out of our clashes. So, my only suggestion to those who are being triggered with all these things, learn to ignore them or take them in a positive way and move on, they are just simple advertisements, which will not impact our lives in any way.

Hope you liked my opinions… It wasn’t meant to target anyone’s sentiments or hurt anyone’s feelings, but just what I felt from my heart. If you liked it, don’t forget to appreciate & do comment your own opinion regarding this clashes now and then due to no reason at all. Thank you for reading!
